Ly Jonaitis

Once more the polyhedron of Caracas contemplates the candidates of the edition 54° of the Miss Venezuela, where a jury of luxury would select the valenciana Ly Jonaitis as representative for large international competitions with some measures 90-60-90 and a height of 1.80 m.

It is of immigrant parents from Lithuania during the second world war. Before crowning himself was devoted to be studying fashion design and to be national and international model, taking advantage of its great beauty and height

 

Jonaitis unlike other misses, had had enough experience in the artistic environment before being crowned; was discovered by the designer Franco Montoro and won a scholarship to participate in the agency of modeling Jacqueline Aguilera who would be Miss World in 2005; participated in a reality show in Televen called «2003 Models» winning as first runner up and gave him a trip to the United States for the contest Super Model of the world, winning again the title of first runner-up.

He was also in Europe, Paris with the Agency Metropolitan models where had the sufficient preparation to get to his country and to participate in the Miss Venezuela, getting the state band Guárico, winning several awards: Best Face, best hair and Miss Venezuela.

The show included with great characters of Venezuelan television as Gilberto Correa, who for the last time encouraged the contest, Daniel Sarcos, Maite Delgado, special participations of actors such as Gledys Ibarra, the singers Olga Tañon and Gilberto Santa Rosa.

In the jury presented the renowned fashion designer Roberto Cavalli and surgeon Plastic Robert Ray, taking as a point in common to the winner: Ly Jonaitis.

To attend the Miss Universe in Mexico, obtained a second finalist; venezuelan wanted to explore his side acting and ventured into his first novel The Mysteries of love and was the image of the girl Polar.

Then decided to enter the television station TELEVEN participating in the newscast and currently participates in the morning program Showcase and through the cable channel Cinemax in «TV break»
